Why Do You Need Skin Renewal Treatment?

The treatment produces a superior peeling that is totally safe and effective, and is therefore suitable for skins of all ages, types and color. All ingredients used in our peelings are of the finest medical grade quality and are approved by the FDA for use on the skin. The peeling can be applied to selected areas of the body as well as the face, neck and eyelids.
During the past number of years, we have tested several peeling agents and adapted the formulations to our own requirements. We use a sophisticated formula which has been personally refined. The System consists of a peeling formulation that has been carefully researched and developed. Layers of dead skin cells are exfoliated in a safe and controlled way and are replaced with skin that is more supple, elastic and firmer, with a smoother texture and stable moisture balance.

Benefits Of Skin Renewal Treatment

This special tried and tested technique achieves a true rejuvenation of the skin resulting in the dramatic improvement in its elasticity, texture and color which is unsurpassed in the field of exfoliation. We are convinced that our skin renewal system is one of the most effective peeling systems available. Our Skin Renewal Peeling is a deep, reliable exfoliation of the skin with no destruction of the living layers. It helps the rapid removal of several of the top dead cells layers and unlike many peeling treatments, does not remove even one layer of the epidermis. Only part of the dead, surface skin cells are exfoliated in a thin crusty layer.
Other treatments, may remove entire dead cell layers and go beyond into the living cell layers which can be affected and destroyed. Each of our peeling treatments in fact restores the skin, stimulating regrowth and the basal cells. Many skin layers are rejuvenated and thickened by the reaction triggered off by our peeling.

Our Skin Treatment

For Wrinkled and Aging Skin – The epidermis’ basal cells rapidly increase as the skin is being exfoliated. As a result, young cells are produced, both in terms of quantity and a regeneration of the epidermis’ basal layers. After peeling, this causes the epidermis to thicken, and more critically, the layers of live cells to thicken.

To be clear, aging skin—whether brought on by the elements or the sun—has fewer layers of living cells and more layers of sticky, dead cells. Peeling therefore transforms the aging epidermis’ structures into those of more youthful skin. These outcomes represent a true renewal of epidermal tissue.

For Oily and Acne Troubled Skin – How does our “Skin Renewal Peeling” treat and rectify this problem? Through exfoliation and the stimulation of cell division in the basal epidermis cells, the treatment unplugs blocked pores and allows elimination of blackheads and closed comedones. These are the precursors of eruptive acne. In addition, skin oiliness which predisposes the skin to acne, is reduced. Peeling treatments can permanently control this disfiguring and confidence-destroying affliction. Acne patients should follow a comprehensive skin care regime prescribed by a skin care expert.

For Freckles and Pigmentation – Trauma-related pigmentation typically has an uneven shape and is observed in the areas where the trauma occurred, such as after a deep chemical peel that caused underlying tissue damage or a hard dermabrasion. The underlying cause of pigmentation must be accurately detected in order to adequately treat it. The pigmentation will reappear if there is continued exposure to the sun, pregnancy, or usage of drugs that promote photosensitization. If the melanocytic pigment is present within the peel depth, melasma-related skin pigmentation will respond to peeling. Repeat peelings will be necessary because photo damage varies and may extend below the peel level. After the initial peeling, the pigmentation may still be there, but the regeneration of a less pigmented epidermis will produce a lighter-looking skin tone.

Treatment on Skins of Color – African skins must be treated as gently as possible and ultra violet light should be avoided at all costs during and post peeling. Melanin production is stimulated by ultra violet exposure and is rapidly converted to its darkest color. The total sun protection during and post peeling, cannot be stressed enough prior to embarking upon peeling

Peeling Procedure

Before you begin, be prepared to hide for 5 days whilst you shed your unwanted skin. Our technique involves two separate applications of a special cream to the skin, 24 hours apart. Immediately after the first application, the skin is red but not unsightly.

After the third day however, it is a different story. The skin takes on a brownish tinge which darkens to its maximum intensity on the fourth day. It looks like a skier who has forgotten to protect himself from the sun and landed up with severe sunburn. The difference of course is that while the sunburn destroys the skin, the peeling restores it.

At the end of the fourth and on the fifth day, the skin begins to peel. On the sixth day, the remaining skin is removed by a therapist in a sterile environment. The peeling is safe and controlled and the skin is never raw. Nothing can go wrong because there is no destruction of the living cells. After cosmetic exfoliation, there is a brand new, glowing, smooth, fine textured skin complexion underneath resembling youthful skin. The new skin is sun sensitive and sunblock needs to be worn for a minimum of 2 months post peeling. We recommend a peeling once a year to keep the complexion smooth and moist and to keep aging at bay.

Skin Renewal FAQs

What makes this type of peeling unique?

Our Skin Renewal Peeling is different from other peels because it not only produces a superior peel that is safe, but it is also extremely effective. It achieves a true rejuvenation of the skin, resulting in dramatic improvements in elasticity, texture and color. Some peelings can destroy cells in the deeper layers of the epidermis, leading to damage of delicate skin tissue. With our atypical peeling formulation, you don’t need to worry about any risks. This is because we use base ingredients that cannot penetrate too deeply into the skin, and thus there is less room for error. There are also no toxic side-effects from using this product.

How often do you recommend skin renewal treatment?

To get the best results from this life-changing treatment, most people need two to three Skin Renewal Peels. After that, one annual maintenance peeling is all that’s needed to keep your complexion looking fresh and smooth—glowing and free of problems. Your skin care specialist will guide you through the entire process, from peeling to healing.

How does this treatment work?

You can trust in our Skin Renewal Peeling to deeply exfoliate your skin without harming any living layers. In fact, it helps speed up the removal of several top dead cells layers. Additionally, this peeling treatment only affects part of the dead surface skin cells, leaving the epidermis intact.

However, unlike other treatments that only remove the dead cells on the surface, our peeling treatment actually helps to restore and stimulate cell growth. With our peeling treatment, many layers of skin are thickened and rejuvenated.

What can I expect to look like throughout the peeling process?

Before you start, set aside 5 days for the initial process where your skin will be shedding. Our easy two-step method just requires special cream that is applied to the skin 2 times within 24 hours. Following the first application, your skin might be red but it won’t look bad.

On day three, things begin to change significantly. The skin starts to turn brown and continues darkening until reaching its maximum depth of color on day four — much like a skier who forgot to put sunscreen on and now has severe sunburn. The only difference is that while sunburn ruins the skin, peeling helps it heal.

On the fourth and fifth days, the skin starts to peel.

On day six, a therapist removes any leftover skin in sterile conditions.

The peeling process is safe and slow so that no living cells are destroyed. This stage is where expert, licensed treatment at a reputable provider is so important to avoid skin damage.

After cosmetic exfoliation, there will be smooth new skin with a young complexion underneath it all–resembling youthful skin usually seen post-peeling treatment plan.

This new sensitive skin will need at least two months worth of sunscreen applied to prevent any irreversible damage from exposure to UV rays.

We recommend a peeling once a year to keep the complexion smooth and moist and to keep aging at bay.

“Bringing my teenage son who is experiencing severe acne. The spa is incredibly inviting and the esthetician Tatiana who is working with him is super attentive. The fact that my son, who was resistant to even using a toner at home, is now asking to go back for follow up facials says it all. Wonderful place.”

“Incredible service – a 5 star experience from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. Staff is so knowledgeable and Rachel is one of the best there is when it comes to skin care. Never pushes products on you either! Love this place.”
